in the pics it shows screws with springs on them. does the depth of the screws matter in how the fuel/air mixture is taken in or are they just for attaching the components? If they are crucial for engine/fuel efficiency how do I know how far to screw them in so the engine runs at top efficiency ...

Kenny, thanks again for the advice, but i don't know what to keep open or where. Is that a necessary procedure/will it affect performance or mpg, since the blue exhaust was only momentary?

is it normal to only get up to 25 flat stretch 27-28 mph downhill?
If so what can I do beginner/mechanically to pep it up a bit (30-40mph)
