thanks for that info about the high psi

any other ideas? or should i just clean the carb extremely well and used compressed air this time? or any ideas for other problems?

im pretty sure i took care of that bad lad....idk i could be mistaken and i think i just needa clean the carb out with some air also

i did pop the middle jet, which is the main if im correct....but are you saying there is a cartridge inside of the main jet also??

yeh im pretty sure i got em both to the right ones, i could be mistaken so i will check it out, but im almost positive its hooked up correctly.....Thanks btw

So my 84 spree quit running on me, It starts up no problem if i shoot some carb cleaner straight through the air cleaner or put in in the plug etc.....
so that means its getting compression and spark but no fuel correct???

I've cleaned the carb several times as good as i can,(unfortunatly i do not ...

ahhhh yes i sucked on the vacuum tube and gas came out the main line.....im going to get a new plug and hopefully then it will start up

Well i just got done cleanin the carb all out and i also had a little junk in the petcock,,,, It still willnt start, it was runnin great a few weeks ago and now it willnt start, and i do not know the reason.......

also when i pull off the main fuel line going to the carb,, should gas be steadily ...

how do i know if mine is clogged up? i dont have a vaccum to use, but when i pull off the tube ....nothing will drip out at all,,,,,my spree hasnt been able to start and idk if this is the reason why

ohhh alright so im set with the oil, still gotta get a plug and rebuild carb n see if it starts, im kinda worried if i take apart the carb i might screw somthin up though.

well im sure its the right oil but its also been sitting for a while

yes thanks for the great advice, well i got it with no gas in it so it has fresh in it already... but im going to have to drain and fill the oil, ill also invest in a plug,, then if no go ill clean the carb and get around to decarbonizing the muffler eventually....a plug chop is just changing the ...
