Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

A coworker was telling me that I should use synthetic 2-stroke injector oil in my spree instead of regular 2-stroke oil, because it will burn cleaner, and thereby NOT gunk up the exhaust as quickly with build-up.

However, synthetic oil (and the Honda oil from the motorsports dealer) is 3-4 times ...

It seems to me that some stock 49cc mopeds (Spree) top out at 28-30 MPH. Other stock 49cc mopeds (Aero) top out a36-39 MPH.

Given an equal choice, I'd go with a faster scooter.

I was on my way to work on my Spree (at about 28-29 MPH) when a co-worker blew by me on a Honda Aero 50, which, for those that don't know, is the roughly same age and size (49cc) as my Spree.
