Yes, the squeak continues but considerably quieter for a couple minutes. Until I rev it up again and get the rear wheel turning, then it starts squeaking again.

My Elite 50 will start up and run fine, but if I run her down the street she starts to squeak loudly near the business end w/in about .10 mile.
