changing the tires has easily been the biggest pItA. buttt. getting the wheels off and on was no problem, it was getting the tires off and on ...

belt

So a two part question here.

My 87 Spree runs great. Only issue ever is if its still cold giving it throttle doesn't always translate to more RPMs/power ,etc. It will lag a bit then slowly come up to power.

Usually i let it warm up good, but I've pulled away a few times and lagged.

Is this just a ...

totally agree

i havn't been riding for that long, but i've already realized that its all about what you want out of your ride. if you are trying to impress or one up, its a lost cause. On my spree i've gotten the thumbs up / wave from harley riders and sport bikes, but i've also had old ladies in cars honk at me ...

That sucks

Too bad guys like this have to exist. How opt will you be to offer the same deal to someone else in the future. Probably not right? I don't understand how people can have no class and then act like nothing happend. Luckily it was a cheap part right? I'm sure you just wanted some thanks and some ...

wheels - to paint or not to paint

I got my order from american motorcycle tire - two kenda K329 tires and two heavy duty michelin tubes. Glad i did too because it looks like prices went up.

I've got all the info together on removing the wheels and changing the tires. But while I have them off, this would be the time to paint the ...

thanks

Thanks for the info. My mind is telling me to leave this cherry spree as stock as possible while my heart is telling me to strap a rocket engine on the back.

I think i need to find another beater here in sacramento that I can tinker with and lend to friends for rides around the neighborhood.

I'll ...

VT cycles CDI for spree

Was browsing the new VTcycles site and the only part available for the Spree is an OKO Performance C.D.I. claim is increased top end for $30.

Can anyone comment on this item.

thanks toast

I picked up that impact wrench you recommended and it was on sale for $19.99. Darn good deal. considering it will probably only be used for the spree, it should be all that I need.

Its been a while since I've been to the local Harbor Freight. Man that place is fun. Even though some of the tools ...

Impact Wrench

I think I need to add one of these to my toolkit. Any benefit of air over electric? Any recommendations on brand or amount to spend. I dont need pro quality, but dont want cr@p. I've read getting the wheels off without one is a PITA.

Spray In Bedliner on Floorboard

Has anyone done this? Do you think a shop would spray out a small piece like this? If not, do you think the store bought stuff could work or just make a huge mess? What do you think about surface prep for this stuff?
