Muffler 'ruined' - which would be easier.

Last week I drilled a 3/8 inch hole in the first baffle of my muffler (87 spree non-Iowa)

I don't mind the louder sound, as it gained a few miles an hour. However my girlfriend (THE SCOOTERS OWNER) hates it....a lot.... doesn't even want to ride it any more.

So I need advice, would be be easier to ...

Compared to Vegas I bet there is 90% less strip clubs then you are used too, that being said there are a few. Mostly downtown'ish (Burnside area). The establishments however are very discrete and it's not like you'll see 'LIVE NUDES XXX' neons are anything.

Honda service departments stock/can order in both tires and brake components. Start there, you know you're getting quality parts as opposed to an ebay grab bag.

Synthetic injector oil is available also at your honda dealer - around 8 to 14 bucks a qrt. Get some and your scoot will thank you.

Weather - A lot of rain, obviously we are in Oregon! Normally the hottest days of the year are low 100's and they are few and far between. Summers around 70-80, spring and fall 50-60, and winters anywhere from 20-50. I will say that whent snow ...

I am from the Salem Oregon area (approx 60 minutes to the south), the much smaller State Capital but I did live in Portland right downtown for a short time approx 15 years ago.

Things were not quite the same then, but I do make it up for visits often.

I've never been much for 'big city' living ...
