Siezed???
Finally got time to get back into the spree. A little history: Bought it with a blown piston(ran out of oil) put one in, and about 8 miles later, and alot of patience trying to tune a carb that had float issues later, it stopped, and would not turn one bit. I then started tearing it apart, and found ...

I was thinking of something along the lines of blocking off the intake on the airbox, for simplicity, using a choke cable from the auto parts shop, similar to that on my buddy's muscle car. But then the idea of the choke on my old HONDA snowblower came to mind and, being an engineering student, with ...

Carb Issues
I'm pretty sure I've narrowed it down to the carb, I just don't know what the problem is. Starts right up, rides fine, but doe4snt idle worth a darn. I was tinkering tonight, the idle screw still has to be all the way in to keep it running for more than a second, and the air screw is making no ...

UPDATE
Back together, starts on the first crank, or at least it did yesterday, even after a 2 hour lecture, but it does not idle worth a darn. Air screw is out one and a half turns, idle screw is all the way in, and it still bogs out with the brakes on. I am starting to think the clutch(es) are worn beyond ...

FIngers over holes, Crank...ROAR, played with the carb while feathering the throttle, and no mercy. The thing will not idle, and now it won't fire at all. I tried the oil trick again and it didnt even seem to work, it will ...
