Anyone know of a CB350 forum like this?

Hello all,

Everyone here has been very helpful and my Spree is up and running. I just have a few minor tweaks and she'll be close to perfect.

I have a 1973 Honda CB350 that I just acquired and have encountered some problems. I was looking for a forum like this one to ask some questions and read ...

The Wheelman is correct.

It's the spring that was missing that let your airscrew completely back out. I had a similar problem with my Spree and found I had to order a new screw b/c I could not find just the spring. I just ordered it from the dealer for $12 bucks! It was cheaper online, but after ...

Ok, I had already replaced the float with a new one. How do I adjust it?
If I can adjust the float, then perhaps I don't have to buy the valve float needle .

Just thought I would try that, since I won't have the valve float needle part until it arrives in the mail.

Thanks.

She's Alive!!!!!

Thanks to everybody here!!! You guys rock. My spree is alive and with a few minor carb adjustments, she'll be fast and perfect. I pilfered a spring off a 50cc Elite in my garage and it was the solution to my air screw problem.

For the first time since I bought her, I got to ride her through the ...

Spring, washer and O-ring! Geez. How come the parts pages only show the air screw and the spring? I did not notice a washer or o-ring during the carb cleaning, I'll have to check that next time I get to work on the Spree.

Thanks!

Make sure your float is not broken where it sits with the needle and that all the carb parts for the float bowl are there. I had a lot of issues with the previous owner who "cleaned the carb" himself. He broke parts and left some crucial ones off.

My flooding issue was a broken float and a missing ...

Thanks for the advice.

1. find spring,

2. try starter with lever on catch,

3. make sure to seat part correctly into carb.

I'll try all these things once the weather warms up a bit. It's a cold day in Texas today!

Thanks for all the help, I'll let you know what happens.

Do I need to check the exhaust too?

Man this little scooter is a lot of work.

I have other Honda bikes that are a lot easier to get running!

Okay here we go.

Alright, I had already cleaned the carburetor thoroughly when the scooter would not start. I found I had a bad float and ordered a new one along with a gasket set. I should have ordered a new needle / jet kit but I did not (possible mistake, I'll explain later).

Parts came in and I cleaned carb ...

Can't get my Spree to fire up!

This is a great forum and I have found a lot of useful information and direction here.

I bought a 1986 Spree three weeks ago and finally got all the parts in to get it running. I found when I first got the Spree that it would not stay on. I had to start it with Staring fluid and once that burns ...
