I have a Honda Spree with only 750 miles on it. I just took it out of dry, heated storage and did the following - but it still wont run past an idle.

New battery
New fuel lines
Cleaned gas and oil tank
Removed carb and cleaned it like 5 times
New spark plug

okay - did everythng and under any load it just dies and stalls the plug is slightly dark brown and looks a little wet. What am I missing???

I fashioned an air filter from an automotive airfilter. A square paper one. Is this sufficient or will it cuase damage? I tried to ride (under load) the ped but anything past quarter throttle it just bogs down and dies. The plugs I purchase are NGK bpr6hsa (4632) - Do they need to be gapped? I ...

New battery and plug. Sprayed wd4o into combustion chamber.
Disassembled the carb, cleaned it, jets and all according to your posts.
Removed all lines and made sure they were clear.
Removed the device below the fuel tank and soak it in gas, cleaned it ...

which way does the little silver needle go - conical (black rubber) end touching the float or conical end facing away from the float?
