Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

I just bought a 83 Honda Aero 50 the other day and I've never owned or even worked on one before, I was wondering if a 3.00-10 tire would fit on it? The tires on it are a little weathered.

I have a Gps, I'll look at it when it warms up. But like I said speedo reads about 36mph these days who knows might be doing 26mph for all I know. But it still beats all other sprees I've owned hands down, and All other sprees that freinds have had.

I'm not sure it hit 39mph, But that is what it said. And also everytime I'd ride with other people I'd always fly past them. Its an 86, My 85 would say about 36 when I first got with 1,100mi. on it and that was with very high rpm.

I'll take a ride when it gets a little warmer here and see what I get, But I do know its faster than your average spree. I have owned a ton of them and this one has always been fastest on flat ground.

I never used a gps so I don't know for sure, but I have rode side by side with a car and also other spree's and have always flew past all my friends when out riding. So I'm pretty sure it was 39mph or close to it. But like I said that was when it had low miles like under 200 mi. on it, Now it runs ...

Mine was 100% stock and it hit 39mph, that was also when it had really low miles. Now it goes right around 36mph on a good day it will go a little faster.

I have also seen with my to eyes my spree do 39mph.

I thought people would want the intake, and reeds to put on Spree's?

I have two sets of SB50 Carbs, Intakes and Reeds. I was wondering what I should expect to get if I try to sell, or if anyone has an offer? Thanks

Yeah I was thinking about removing the wheel, I figured it'd be easier to ship that way and keep down the cost. But I thought I should include everything else.

Does anybody know what I should include with the motor if I part the bike out? I figured I should include everything pipe, carb, air box, motor mount, and cooling shrouds.

Selling the whole bike I'd let it go for $250

The compression is right around 140. I forgot to do the WOT I'll have to do it one more time. But that's what I got by kicking it over few times. Do you know whats normal for one of these?
