I ordered some orings for my carb from http://allorings.com and they have a material guide here http://allorings.com/material_selection.htm
Make sure to get something that isn't going to disintegrate on contact with gas.

Fixing a jet on a carb. [IMAGE]
I had been reading the forums for a few months and never realized that this forum only deals with 50cc bikes. Well right before I realized this I bought a 80cc Elite thinking I was going to call this website home.

I found an aftermarket exhaust on ebay made by a company called battlescooter. the posting mentioned rejet and air box mods, so I emailed them and they said they sell a jet kit for CH80. Website is http://battlescooter.com

Where to find info about performance mods for 80cc Honda?
I'm trying to find out info about making a custom exhaust (no one makes them for the CH80) and also about rejetting the carb and putting a new airbox in..
I'm guessing I'm goign to have to be the pioneer for the CH80 because I can't find any information on upgrading it.
Mine hits 42 on flats and I ...

Has anyone tried this stuff? The video makes it look amazing and I found a review on a corvette page and they said the stuff works awesome. I ordered some and it's on the way.

Measuring RPM's. What tachometer is needed?
Can I use a digital tachometer or what? How do you measure the RPM's to make sure the idle is set correctly.
I found a pretty neat little tach that might work but I figured I would ask before blowing $40.

I did that and the auto parts store I went too had about 50 different sizes and nothing fit right. They were to fat and usually a hair to small.
I've figured out exactly what size I need 20.6MM inner diameter and 1.9mm width. I've found the part on two honda sites but the shipping costs are $15 and ...

Measuring Oring's on Carb
Does anyone know how to measure orings so I can order some? I have a 1985 Honda Elite 80 and I need two orings that go between carb and engine mount.
Using my caliper I measure the width of one edge to be about 2 millimeters. It's hard ot measure the diameter because the oring is flexible but ...

Drive Belt Size and tension
What kind of tension should the drive belt have? The one that came on this bike I got off craigslist for a 1984 says the following on it "23100-GK8-0030 BANDO" and according to my caliper it is not near 10.5 mm wide. Is there any belt I can go get at an auto parts store today that would work?
