As I mentioned before, I drilled four inches into the muffler and yes it is MUCH louder. Also, my scoot would barely hit 25mph prior to drilling holes. Now it cruises right up to 35-37mph per the speedo. I'm 160 lbs and 5'8" tall if that helps.

Okay, here is a picture of the four holes I drilled in my spree. It's a lot louder though, I will mention that. I only drilled about 4" in (through the first baffle) and that just happens to be the perfect amount of back pressure.

Ah nice, thanks for the tips. What about the pulley mod, will that work on the 86 spree? I saw it in the technical docs section, but no pictures. (I like images)
