ok, so i did some more work and tore in to the piston, just for the * of it really. the seals look good but while im in there i might aswell replace them. But a big problem i did find was the exaust port was over HALF clogged. so i went at it with picks and shovels and pb blaster and eventually got ...

It starts up right away. just a kick or two, electric start is far gone. I will take apart the clutch and belt tonight and put up some pics for opinions

Thanks, I checked all my connections. looks like the throttle needle was sitting in there incorrectly. As soon as i adjusted it the bike started right up, noob mistake, and good luck dean

hey, i dont mean to hijack but im in the middle of the same problem after a carb rebuilding and replacing all the seals. There is fuel in the bowl for sure and im almost certain everything is plugged back the way it came. What should the reeds look like? both flat and closed?
