When does a muffler devlop carbon build-up?

My 84 spree (800 mile) runs great. It hits 25 mph up steep hills, 30 mph on flat ground, and 35-40 mph down hills. The only thing the bothers me is that it bogs slightly of the line. It runs great besides that.

Will a 1984 and a 1986 gas tank fit a 1985 Spree?

I have a 1985 Spree. I weigh about 170 lbs. What should I be running for tire pressure? Honda says 18 front/24 rear, it seems low to me.

The black one is working. I just hit 35 mph, on a slight downhill.

I got a battery and a plug. I'm going to try the black spree first.

What is the deal with the "Iowa" thing? The two Sprees I just picked-up do not have kick starts. I see a lot of pics of others with them. Both are 1985's. Any info would be welcome.

I'm going to pick-up two batteries and a couple of plugs tomorrow. We'll throw some fresh gas and oil in them and see what happens.
