3 spark choices

Post by spreenewbie »

I noticed in the service manual that I have 3 choices for a spark plug. which should I use for "lard *" application for a 265 lb rider? It's only going 23 mph top speed right now. on Flat road...

On a side note I am close to completing registering my 1986 spree which has been off the books for about a decade. I go in for vin ver tomorrow. Freakin' awesome! I may have saved the life of a spree and gotten it back on the road! We'll see if I walk away with a plate and a promise of a pink in the mail.....!!!!! :coolcruise: As long as I can ride I'll get out of your way.... :geekdance:

The picture is of my temporary permit which allows me to drive the scooter during the day till I get the vin ver. It's good til 1/29/10. this means I'm gonna ride the spree as often as possible till it expires. Then I would have to get the class M1 cert. on my license and blah blah blah.. california is a pain in *! But if you are in ca. and would like to know the steps I used etc. I may be able to help. I've been researching the heck out of this stuff. If your scooter is "off the books" you have a really good chance of obtaining a pink and getting it registered. that's how it looks so far....
