Honda Spree center stand problem

Honda Spree center stand problem
I have an 84 Spree that I just purchased, and replaced rings (5k). While on center stand, my rear tire isn't off of the ground? Is this normal? I thought tire was to be off the ground while on stand. It also leans to one side, or the other (doesn't sit flush on stand). Any thoughts, or ideas? Thanks for any help.

mine was like that, what i did was take it off and put it in a bench vice applied a little heat(dont get it glowing though) and had to bend it straight and then bend the feet straight and all was well.

Re: Honda Spree center stand problem
I wonder if tires on mine was replaced with a size taller ones? When you bent stand, that fixed the leaning problem, not the height right?
Re: Honda Spree center stand problem
both, as mine was bent backwards and one foot was bent upwards. i had the gansta lean til i fixed it. the spree should have stock 2.50X10 tires. i have 2.75X10 on there now and it doesnt touch the ground close but no touch.

Re: Honda Spree center stand problem
Thanks for info. I have the 2.50 x 10 on rear. The stand feet are completly flat (no arch at all). So I probably need to heat, and bend to rearch?

Re: Honda Spree center stand problem
my gf's center stand was bent longitudinally so you actually had to lift it to push it forward off the stand.
i replaced it with one from my parts bike... her rear wheel is still really close to the ground, but not touching anymore.
