nq50 heavyer rear centre spring better take off????
my take off is crap it drops into top gear as soon as i give it throttle possibley because i weigh 95kgs and the owners manual says 82kg max im going to fit a heavyer rear centre spring hoppfully that will raise the engagement point up 1500 rpm it turn giving me a better take off does this sound right i just bought the taz gears so take off is only going to get worse will this centre spring help solve my take off problems i also just bought a new clutch as mine is starting to slip

The heavy center (sorry, Centre...
) spring has no effect on the clutch engagement speed. It is there only to provide lateral grip on the belt and keep it wedged between the fixed front pulley sheaves. Your Spree shifts into "Top Gear" only because it has only one gear. The belt drive system doesn't move much, if at all.
The thing that will raise clutch engagement speed is replacement of the three hooked coil springs that retract your clutch's pivoting "shoes". I have no idea of the size/length of those springs on the NQ, but if they are the same dimensions as the Aero/Elite items, a variety of stiffer options exist.
That said, a weak center spring could cause some slippage. So can a greasy belt. You may wish to clean all pulley surfaces of oily residue with brake cleaner. Maybe dab at the new belt before you install, too.

i pulled it apart and cleaned it all down already didnt make a difference i will enquire about those 3 clutch springs see if i can get some stiffer ones thank you for the help

yes i got some heaver clutch springs helps with take off a bit probably not as much as i thought
