They show up on flea bay but for quick and easy, your Honda dealer is best. At least that's how I deal with it and my dealer is 40 miles down the road.

Hi.
Can't buy new floats here in NZ, can get needles $35 NZD + postage.
Used carb - whole - $35. But getting someone elses problems?

Why on earth would they not allow the importation of a plastic float?

Hi,
Its 'obsolescence' I'm told, rather than restrictions. We are talking over 20yrs old.
Perhaps there is some cross reference for a later, different model that fits/suits. But I haven't been offered that alternative, by any dealer.

That's crazy, I can buy parts for my 1967 100 hp outboard motor on my 15 foot 3 point hydroplane and they havent made this engine model since 1973. *, go to the following website, get your part number and tell the local yokel to order it because Honda still makes the d*** things. If they won't do it, PM me and I'll buy one and mail it to you.

or this is the one for my local dealer.

Bear, I like your new "Geezer" signature. It is very fitting. And I'm sure a lot of these youngsters will agree.

When I first moved to Missouri, one of the old pillars of the community introduced himself as "the old geezer". He was in his mid 60's. He died a couple of years ago, and I realized that I'm not at the age he was when he said that. So I announced that I am now the "old geezer" in these parts. My children agree. :?

It's OK but I can't use a stick anymore. I'm older than all the guys I run with except one and his nickname is "Dumb *" and he most surely is. He never learns from his mistakes. New quad last year as he rolled his old one and bent the frame. One month after he bought the new one, guess what? Yep, he rolled it and bent the frame.

I'm in my 60s but early not mid yet. But all the youngest around here realize two things;

"Old age and treachery will out do youth and enthusiasm every time!"

and

"Never pick a fight with an old man. If he is to tired to fight, he will just kill you."

I keep the last one alive with 2 things.

My quad, notice what is mounted on the tank bag.

And this is on my hip, always.

You got a problem with Rednecks and 2nd Amendment? Oh that's right, you guys don't have a 2nd Amendment in Kiwi land. They didn't in * Germany either.

BTW, Bear is not a Redneck. Just a Northerner who believes in the Constitution. We didn't have the 2nd Amendment under the Brits before the Revolution. That's why its in there now, and the reason we've been able to stave off dictatorship so far. But the gun snatchers are trying so they can take over and force their agenda.

Topics and Ballistic Devices

Post by Wheelman-111 »

Greetings:

Quoth Grahame:
Well, that handgun picture sure as * killed that topic then.
Guns don't kill topics. People kill topics. :)

Back on track, a used Honda/Keihin carb from a parted-out scooter may be your best bet. SB50s used a slightly larger reed block and the carbs interchange, opening more options.

I'm going with the SB50 carb, intake and reeds with wheelman's carbon fiber petals with my Spree build.

Well the effect was the same. Killed it dead!
No retraction from me. < Rednecks are people too. > People kill topics. Point made, I think!

I will not go on any further, this is a Scoot forum.

Bear45-70 wrote:Some consider the term "Redneck" to be offensive, others a compliment. However your intent in using the term was clearly to inflame. Knock it off. I love my country very much, and value its Constitutional foundations, just as you love and value yours. We'll have to disagree on this one.
I was born Grit, but now Redneck, and proud of both terms. But most of all, like Bear, I love my country and value our Constitution. It is currently being destroyed, and for that I weep.
