think about it..................
im talking about the guys with the chinese scooters or anyone with a 4 stroke (especially those super * elite 80's) the guys that pull up next to u at a red light on the shoulder of the road in the biker lanes and think they gon pass u on the shoulder....... most of the times they will be smiling beforehand.
just make sure that when u do it u look back at the guys face as u increase your lead on him not to mention the FAT cloud of exhaust smoke you will blow right into there face. LOL
the smile disappears as soon as u rev the motor rite b4 the light turns green (assuming yo elite is bored out)
best of all is the look of anger on their faces after they know they got no shot at catching up to u
das what i mean by PRICELESS (it doesnt happen alot, but when sumone does make the mistake of challenging u.......U WILL NEVER FORGET IT)
if u have never experienced it before then what are u waiting for....
it sure beats riding in a straight line with your "biker gang" like what u said u want to do
JUST MAKE SURE U DONT PULL UP ALONG ME NOW OR U WILL EXPERIENCE THE OTHER PART OF RACING I forgot to mention...........LOSING

As far as dropping names, I just pointed them out because they are the only ones with first hand experience around here that I can think of. I know what to do, but explaining what I think is the best option vs. someone who has actually done the work, it's always better to ask someone who has done it. They all know me, if they have a problem with it (which I highly doubt), tell them Sops said it and they know where I'm at. I've known all but 1 since before they rode peds, not to mention most of their first bikes came from my best friend.

I've been passed by elite 80's on Alii drive, the speed limit is like 30 and they can think they beat me all they want. I used to race in town and it's just too sketchy with cops. And I would always end up topping out and getting passed by everyone, and it sucked. Now I just pass some cars on queen k on my way to put gas, and then I head home.

It's not like I'm trying to pick a fight, it's just you can see how you would feel about someone calling you and your crew * for riding together. My friends that ride are the same ones with me at the bar, at the beach, riding dirtbikes, and it just so happens we have mopeds too. And it's not all about straights, I'll race anyone on a twisty road, on any size bike (or even cars), turns are where it's at. No worries though, we can drag race peds some time if you like (for fun of course), and maybe burn one down after.

Not to mention, the more people you meet (and possibly ride with) the more you'll learn from them. I'll admit, I've seen some new parts and learned some new things from a few of the guys around here.

As far as swapping gears goes, you can't go between 9:1/8.4:1 unless you pickup an extra set of secondary gears to press the extra set onto. I guess you could just keep repressing the same gears, but it isn't really a back+forth kind of thing. That's why I like primary gears, just keep extra oil around and be careful with the gasket.

I ride a black 87.

Not tryna start nothin here, just got off on 1 bad start. You need to stop actin all tantatan. Nobody goin like help you wit da attitude you get.

If you like disk your S get the dd front end. Grind the bottom of it until you see a circle/stem. You dont want to grind away the 2 holes w/threads that hold the undercarriage thing/protector? Then you need a press to press the stem from the clamp.

You should now have a stem and the clamp. The stem is now useless. Now you can cut ur S stem from the bottom of the S clamp.

Now weld the S Stem to the DD50 Clamp..

Thats 1 way to do it. I dont know if the G triple or Live triple fits but I think it should... Never Had 1 S.
