I've always been a huge collector and reenactor. Looking for others that are interested on here as well! *, even tell me what gear you have! i'll get some pics up later of my stuff.

Re: Does anyone here do reenactments(specifically WWII)
Yeah, it's really fun and interesting. You get to meet incredible fun people that like the same things you do!

I fought in a real war and the idea of playing at it. regardless of which one, just doesn't really cut it for me.

I've got a 1939 or '42 K98 Mauser Karabiner. Full US uniform and such. I never wear the uniform.
There's a huge WWII paintball game called Oklahoma D-Day. Around 5,000 people show up. I won't make it this year, for sure, but next year is looking good. Not exactly a reenactment, but fun never-the-less. http://www.ddayadventurepark.com/

Two tours in Vietnam, 1967 and late 1968-1969. And war can be and is *.toboggan wrote:Nice!

My uncle and me in November 1967 in Thailand where we met up for an R&R. I'm the skinny one.

Don't be saying that, some mornings I wake hurting so bad, I feel like I must have died overnight or at least come close. Beside the disabled vet thing I got screwed up several more times over the years. Even the state and federal (beside the VA) governments think I'm to broke to be working anymore, so I play as much as I can. Like my mother-in-law says; "Old age is not for sissies!"Trafficjamz wrote:Your as young as you feel Bear.
