Spree disc brakes

Post by Woodencardboard »

Has anyone tried a disc brake conversion on a spree? I was thinking about trying one and was wondering if anyone else has done it and if so how?

i believe the most popular way is to get a front end off a dio and cut it up and do some welding, never seen it done, only head of it though

you can use the japan dio frontend or a sym dd50 frontend but you will have to cut the stem from the spree and weld it into the triple of the dd50 or dio disc brake frontend.
Nothing like getting stroked!
