How should i repair glove box?
I've been trying to just get a new glove box, but it seems they are nearly impossible to come by and the only one i've seen is over a hundred dollars so it looks like im going to have to fix the one i have. I have 2 big cracks in the plastic on both sides of the glove box. Both the turn signals are basically floppin around when i'm ridin it. I tried sealing the cracks with an epoxy to hold them in place and it didn't work out too well. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get a strong bond to hold everything in place? Is it possible to weld the plastic somehow? If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated!

Member forrestking did some good work at plastic welding for some internal parts of soft (polyethylene?) . I have some pics from forrestking which will go into a wiki topic tonight. Will post a link to your thread.
Personally, I've tried plastic welding and had some success, but need more practice. Will post those too but think forrestking's work is nicer.

Here's a link to a draft of the plastic welding topic. There's much more info which can be had for plastic welding. You can build the weld a little high, then sand through progressive grits, and get a smoother finished look. But the repair may always be detectable. But having a glove box at all adds functionality, and personally I think its a win.
