exhaust derestricting ?'s

O.K. so i took my exhaust apart and read somewhere on here that there is some sort of "restriction" that can be takin out? i have no idea what im looking at, all i see is like two "ring" gaskets and thats it? just tryin to buff up the flow, i ordered a #85 jet and a 1" uni pod air filter. wich i was told by you guys was the thing to do, anyways.. can someone please explain the derestricting on my 2001 honda elte sr 50? pics would be helpfull!! thanks guys!! :worship:

Greetings:

There should be no restrictions on your '01 if'n it's a Elite SR. The SA50P Elite "S" had a couple of Honda built-in restrictions that an SR owner need not worry about. Aftermarket variator, pod filter with an 85 or 88 jet, and perhaps 9:1 gears really wake up its stock performance. If you get Pibbs' Keli, PM me for a ramp plate that'll work well with it. The stock one is only ~eh!~
