Re: '86 Spree Stock Build, For Now.
Just ordered my 44BBK and gears. A lot of cleaning left to do, small parts ordering and gasket making.

It lives!!! Well, I put the 87 engine in the 86, with all the 86 other parts. I rebuilt the carb, added oil and fuel, primed the pump and it fired right up. Took it for a ride down the alleyway, runs great! Not as squirrley as the Gyro. From a standing start to about 25 in the course of the alley (about seven houses).
But I noticed the rear rim is bent, it wobbles a bit. Not going to worry about it at the moment.Just need for the paint to dry on the panels, go get it inspected and registered. This is the last no-title bike I'm buying.
I'm going to get some flush mount turn signals and call it done, until my BBK and gears start calling me to install it. I already have 2.75-10's on it.
Okay, here's some pics.

Hey Kirk that thing is looking good. I like the color combo. Are the wheels painted black or bronze? Can't tell.

Thanks!! Rims are metallic black. Wife wanted blue panels, so I let her pick them out. Just have to get signals and registration, then maybe she will ride it to work.
Here's more pics.

Not the best paint job, but passable.
