Scoring a nice deal soon on a pair of CH80 Elites. Getting them both for $350. One is a 2001 with 17k on it that needs a drive belt. Even includes the new belt. The other is a 1993 that shows 1.2 miles on it. Its really clean, so it may well be that. Its owners manual is still in the trunk wrapped in plastic and the tool kit is still in its place. Ill see once i get them home.

The plan is to get the 2001 going and sell it asap since ive got to pay back my backer(dad). Ill keep the 1993 and rack up some miles on it. These might get me back into 2 wheels. I just haven't been in the mood to ride since all ive got is my XT600 running right now. I miss my scooters. Really need to fix the Elite 150 too.
Got them yesterday. The 1993 is over at my dads while i work on fixing the 2002 model.
The 2002 needs a little more than i thought. Its missing the drive pulley and the starter sounds pretty bad. It also seems to have a oil leak somewhere too. Im going to try get it running later today.
The miles on the 1993 are low because the speedometer doesn't work. I think it was laid down when it was new, the speedometer quit and was never fixed. It wasn't rode that much anyway. The tires are oem with the little nipples still on them. The engine and chassis are covered in dust and spider webs, not road grime. Got it to my dads yesterday and put a jump pack on it and it fired right up. Rode it around the yard and it rides good. Now ive just got to get the 2002 fixed and sold so i can pay dad back and get the other one.

It was running throughout the whole video. That thing is super quite. When we first started it, we were near the generator, had to stick my hand under the muffler to see if it was running or not.
Sadly ive got to sell one of them in order to pay back dad, or i would keep both. Maybe if someone buys my 3 wheeler ill pay him with that and keep them both. Driving me nuts that i can't even ride the orange one until i pay him.
$400 as of right now. The deal we made was that he funded buying them, then I would fix and sell the '02. He would get his $400 and half of the profit. I feel like the deal has changed since he is telling me to sell the '93, then fix the '02 and sell it too. Going up to his house tomorrow and have a talk to get things straight.
He can't sell either one anyway, the titles are in my name. Ive got the '02 here and he has the '93.
Well i sold a few other things this week and paid my dad off yesterday, so now i have my 1993 Elite. The speedometer was unhooked on it, hooked that back up and it works again. Already put 6 more miles on it. Going in a bit to get tags for it. Going to get the title done for the other one too since ill be there anyway.
