riding down the road and it sorta backfired and lost power and now it wont run has about 40 lbs of compression and spark what is the problem

It's called a ruined top end or melted piston. Pull the head and look. Chances are you will be pulling the jug (cylinder) and piston too.

elite e with nq50? one hundred dollars or less you can get a 44mm big bore kit more power and in my opinion way safter then the 48. cheap simiple easy thats what i would do
