Something is in my muffler.
I took my muffler off to remove the engine and if I shake the muffler back and forth, I can hear multiple things moving inside but none are small enough to come out either end. Could it just be large pieces of carbon? I read all the time about cutting them open to clean them. Do I open it lengthwise and stop before I reach the neck that starts up to the engine or do I take it somewhere to get oxy-acetylene cleaned?
there's a cleaner I ve used before-works wonders,I cant remember the name, but I can give you the place I got it from -http://teamcalamari.com/

Remember, everyone is human, even if there stupid!
It's chunks of carbon.
You could cut it and reweld it just like you said, or torch-clean it. You could also just throw it into a hot fire for 10-15 minutes.
If there's a chemical that cleans these, I'd like to see it.
