Greetings:

'Scuse the typo, Jams. And sharp eye! Freakishly fat Wheelman fingers are to blame. Corrected to two and three-quarters.

Oh, that's just Great! Now if I want a forty-HP Flash, I gotta find a filter with a 70mm, or what? a 2-3/4" connection?! That oughta be easy... NOT!

Greetings:

My 3rd grade teacher had to be institutionalized after trying to teach me anything...

Thanks for the link, TJz. I might reconsider using that specific Snowmobile one, however. "Coarse foam" and "Stops Icebergs" from getting into your Snowmobile engine. Might not be so good for fine Urban silicates. Fortunately if they make a snow-going 2-3/4, they probably make other, finer versions in that size.

I'm going to try the Funky Teutonic Airbox thing first. If I have no luck, I may spring for the Velocity Stack and a fatter UNI.

Yep,

I already ordered my dual-stage UNI filter, 2 3/4 inlet,
6 inches long with a 15 deg angle. It will be an exact fit...

I too saw the "coarse" snowmobile filter. Since my Aero will never see the snow, I opted for the dual-layer filter.

-Brad, now THAT is a fiter adapter!! Thanks for the cool UFO link. Not really my taste, but fun to see!

The stage6 stuff is nice! Here's the velocity stack that I just got for the 28mm oko carb on my ruckus:

It's hand made, and really sweet! Happy tuning fellas
