As Brad said, you dont want to pull that tube out.
Check the thread below for what you should be looking for:
http://www.hondaspree.net/phpBB3/viewto ... =3&t=14182
The hole that is circled is where the tube you are talking about exits into the carb. This is your pilot jet and its a pain to clean. Other threads say a guitar "High E" string will fit in there and can help to clean it out if you are careful. You do not want to use anything that could alter the size of the pre-cast hole. To make it more fun, the pinhole is not centered in that tube.

Agreed, no pliers. Use a very small wire or better yet get some spray carb cleaner and just keep working at it.

This tool is made espacially for cleaning carbs, and for only $12.99 not a bad investment!

I got it Running!!!!!! WooooooooooooHOoooooooooooooooo Thanks to everyone that helped me out. I couldn't have done it with out you guys!! Now im trying to get it to run better. Thank you guys
It idels fine but the the idle screw has to be in most of the way. when i move it out it trys to turn off unless i give it gas.

Re: Help Love the site
How long are you letting it warn up all the way? I don't touch my Spree's throttle this time of year for at least 2 minutes. If you are waiting until it is warmed up, then are you talking the mixture screw (lower screw) or the idle speed screw (on the throttle slide tower)? Mixture screw in way far, the idle mixture is lean. You may still have some obstructed fuel passage. Idle speed screw, there is no spec, except 1800+ or - 100 RPM.

Re: Help Love the site
bear its running alot better now. I let it sit at idle for a while. About 10 min then i set the idle screw so it would not spin the tire. Then i set the mixture screw to the specs in the manual. and its purring like a kitten now. Its a bit late here on the east coast, but tomorrow i will let you know how it goes. Thanks again for all the great help.
I have wanted a spree since i was a kid. This girl in my apartments had one and all the neighborhood kids used to take turns riding it around.
Im 32 years old and i finally have my very own spree. Im really happy right now and cant thank you guys enough. will report back tomorrow.
Oh any advice online where to get a cool helmet at a decent price?

Re: Help Love the site
That is backwards. You set the mixture screw first, for the highest RPM possible, the spec in the book is just a starting place. After you have the highest RPM, then adjust the idle speed so the rear wheel does not turn.charlie047 wrote:bear its running alot better now. I let it sit at idle for a while.
