so do i just use carb cleaner and compressed air to clean it? i dont want to screw this up...

-Make sure all 3 jets are clean in the carb
-Make sure you have all gaskets in the carb
-Make sure the airfilter area is airtight except at the intake of course (use duct tape if not)
-Make sure the bystarter is airtight (again duct tape)
- Make sure the oil pump is moving oil before you hook it up to the carb intake

ok the first 3 on ur list is going to get redone.. now as for the autoby starter i am gettin really * about that hunk of *. i am just goin to put my elite one even tho i am goin to have to splice a couple of wires... i and not really rideing my elite now so..

i sware what a hunk if crap.. it is still getin to much gas... i am getin really *.. i have been workin on this d*** thing for 2 days.. i did run.. arg

i did clean it.. i noticed that the main jet was a 67 so i put a 65 back in it and tryed that.. but still getin way to much gas..

you should be able to see light through all 3 jet holes looking straight down the carb with the float bowl off.

the idle jet hole is the smallest, you will see a tiny pinhole of light

i am using a #65 jet on my spree

well i do... i always take em apart. well i have a extra engine so i just play with that one. so far the one im playing with goes 42 mph with some porting and smothening.
