just a thought on exhausts here guys:
a stock spree motor is more or less a direct drive so the pipe you choose needs to work at low and high rpms. With the stock motor being 49cc I would think that a pipe for a 46cc Goped engine would work very well. After you raise your compression and open the exhaust port a bit and re jet the carb I would think the stock spree motor might move about the same amount of air at lower rpms as the high rpm goped motor.
I know gopeds are direct drive and the pipes work down low and hit at a mid rpm and pull well to higher rpms. I also know there are low rpm pipes for gopeds. A lot of heavier guys are running the torque pipes on the goped forum. They say the top speed is less but it is far more fun and drivable with low end power.
Just thought about moped or noped pipes too. These pipes are offered for stock 50cc setups or big bore 72cc setups. These bikes are also direct drive.
Hope this stirs some thoughts of things to try.

a stock tuned muffler is tuned for emmissions not performance, if you know how to do it right you can tune it for performance
