Hello All,
After doing endless searches on the forum for a correct aftermarket drive belt for a spree I just want to ask if putting an ax 24 drive belt is going to be a good bet since it is 26 inches long and is a bit longer than the stock. I am not interested in the pulley mod at this time. Or do you actually get increase in top speed compared to shorter and narrower stock belt? I believe there is about 3 cm difference in the two.
Cheers,
Gulfstorm.

Re: Drive Belt clarification
How much longer is the aftermarket belt over stock? if it's overly larger, it may be too loose and not even work.
If it don't fit, force it. If it breaks, it needed to be replaced anyway.

Re: Drive Belt clarification
Stick with the OEM Honda belt, they are about $20 and will last a long time.
Vesrah lists their part # AN-1017 for the Spree, but I have yet to find a wholesale or retail outlet for those in the U.S. Dimensions are 628 x 11.4.
The AX24 is a close fit, but IMO the length, width and angle are not ideal.
The replacement of a worn stock belt with a new properly sized one will be an improvement. Check the manual for specs on measuring.
