OIL PUMPS

OK since i am changeing my elite engine to my spree i was seeing if i could just change the oil pump to the sprees but change the gear on it. i mean on the bottom of the pump since it comes out of the hole..

I'd be tempted to keep the Elite oil pump on the Elite engine... are you trying to keep from running the split throttle cable? If that's what you're trying to avoid, dont. Just take the twist throttle from the Elite too.

arg.. i really dont want to i was just thinkin to tie the pump open so it is getin oil all the time .... like the spree

do that only while running a bore kit.

...or you'll constantly be replacing fouled plugs.
