Everything is stock tires and all, Idk how it was possible but i was flying at 40. Possibly the ridiculous power to weight ratio?
Power/weight has more to do with acceleration than top speed.
You were probably going 35 tops. The spree speedometer is not very accurate with a 2.5 tire.
lol idk i still proved bear wrong. I bet i can break 40 after modding the dio lol
If yours did 40 without it, it would be the first time in spree history. [/quote]
Not always true Tjamz I have had several honda sprees that would run like a raped ape with no air box. And yes I have had one up to 38(flat ground) with no air box and GPS verified. Most will run with out the air box you just have to turn in the air/fuel ratio screw in all the way. I do not suggest doing this but when you buy a spree for $20 and can ride it like that for a summer it is well worth the risk.

This is pure BS. The fuel/air screw only effects idle to at most 1/4 throttle. It's effect at WOT is at best 1 to 2% of the fuel being used. What is this a Liar's Moon? Fantasies will not work here.
