could someone please post a pic of a mounted carborator? I can't tell which red hose goes were!

really easy.
the hose coming out of the bottom of the petcock goes to the lower of the 2 nipples on the carb.
the hose coming out of the side of the petcock attaches to the top most nipple of the carb.

What model scooter does Thugorp have? Petcock vacuum line runs to the intake for some. And some inject oil into the carb. on the upper fitting.

For the petcock, the line on the bottom goes to the vacuum tap. Honda often used a smaller ID tube for petcock vacuum than the fuel, so a visual inspection of the tube end may cover it. Cut off a 1/2" or so if needed.

Ok - Spree has an angled fuel inlet at the left side of photo like the carb in this pic (it's actually an SB50 carb)



For the petcock vacuum line, the intake at the right side of photo is a Spree. Vacuum line goes on the topmost fitting. Oil line is the lower fitting.
