no offense i dont wana be a weiner but i really dont wanna hear it. i understand ur * but i just wana fix my scoot.
i got a new bystarter today froma junkyard .. and the whole reason i got it was cuase the old one only had 1 of the 3 plastic peices that hold on the brass cylinder and on the way home one of the ones on the new one broke off... the plastic is clearly just insanely old and brittle. is there any way i could just order that part (the little platic plug with the three peices on the end of it not the whole bystarter) new so it wouldnt be so brittle and break? or has neone on here found a good way to jimmy rig it so it'll work?

I'm having the exact same problem! please message me when you get it fixed so i can do the same!
just been told that the o ring seal in the oil pump can go and you can get a vacuum leak through that, so first thing tomorrow i'm going to pull my oil injector off and plug up hole and premix my fuel. anyone know what oil to fuel ratio to use?

Don't do that. If the ring is shot replace it and keep running the pump.niftyfifty wrote:I'm having the exact same problem! please message me when you get it fixed so i can do the same!
