The vision ran both the af05e and the af16, maybe more throughout the years.

Greetings:

Vision was the Euro name for the Aero. AF05 (methinks...) in the Vision, AF16 appeared in later Vision "Met-In" - another wacky Honda-san Euro name - models.

just asking a question because I truly do not know anything concerning the spree or better yet, scooters...

can i find the guide to all of these upgrades in this awesome website?

I intend to get a spree very very soon and I was going to be satisfied with the stock spree but after looking some stuff up in the spree wiki, I am so pumped to do all of these upgrades! (:

I intend to follow the upgrade guide very strictly.

As I quote noiseguy:
1) Pulley mod (may require follow-up modifications depending on other changes)
2) Enlarge stock manifold (or do #6 instead)
2.5) Install domed piston from later engine (replacement for '84/'85 dished piston)
2.7) Swap earlier '84/'85 head to later engine.
3) Mill head to increase compression, targeting .020" running clearnace
4) Enlarge exhaust port
4.5) Install SB50 exhaust pipe and shock (shock change required for exhaust to fit.)
5) Construct expansion chamber
6) Upgrade to SB50 manifold and reeds
7) Bore kit
Gear ratio change
9) New carb (size?)

I found the guide for number 1 and number 2 seems pretty straight forward since I'll be doing number 6 instead.
I will skip 2.5 and 2.7 since I'll be looking for an 87.

Regarding number 3, can someone explain to me what you're supposed to do for that?
It just says mill head and it details the results..perhaps a link?

Same for number 4. How does one go about enlarging the exhaust port? Is this like installing a bigger one then?
4.5 is straight forward.

For 5, do you literally make a new expansion chamber? lol I'm stumped with the ones that sound like you have to literally make something by like welding.

7 is straight forward as well because I saw the kits and guides through this forum.

I'm getting ahead of myself I know haha but I am just so pumped!

In any case, all your help will be much appreciated.

Links will be helpful and I think this will help wikispreedia grow!

Thanks again and please excuse my noob-ness

The carb I have been selling with my carb kit for the spree is a 21mm. My new gear set is a 16*81 for the spree.
