run the champion RL87YC spark plug gapped at .025 My 86 aero has 13,500 miles on it all of witch were run with that# plug! It ran 9995 miles on the stock piston until the ring divider broke. Get a vari for it from VT Cycles it will do 42mph with it. My aero burned 3OZ of oil to a gallon. like 50/45:1
01 dio, polini 72cc, 8.4 gears, 28oko, ruima crank, PG short, ported intake, 42.3 rolls

2nd build
86 aero
10-1 secondary gears form a dio.
arisol 46mm
pg short

Why are you pushing Champion plugs? Do you own stock in the company? These engines came with NGK plugs and you should run them. There are differences in plugs and most crosses are close but not exact.

I am not pushing them I always run NGK except on my aero. Something about that RL87YC is perfect for that engine I know this for sure as I have run them both and like I said My aero has a lot more miles on it than most. Try one out on a un moded Honda It will love that plug.
