you are talking about they kymco zx rear pulley sub assy. right? ... i think it's KS9E07DP2301A part# and like 44 bucks...

cut the piston skirts and it turns into a corsa=its a poor boy trick :smile:

contesta, contessa, cortesa.. whatever.. you wanna call it'.. so how far up do you cut the skirts?
and isn't the corsa aluminum?

nope same kits different port jobs mine is a contessa with port work done to it :thumbwink:

Let me give you some good advice.

Don't take Maddog's advice too seriously :jack:

I have seen a corsa and contesta piston side by side and the have the same skirts. :confused:

The difference is in the port timing and angles :wink:

WHAT? I bought a contesta :surprise:. I was going to cut the piston skirt, making it a corsa, and save alot of money. :evil:

Do some port work to the exhaust port (wider and slightly taller)

That will make it perform more like the corsa.

Fastplastic has a ported contesta the outperforms two corsa builds we have done :surprise:
although..........he does have a very nice rare PG pipe to go with it too. :wink:

:lol: trafficjamz, i knew about the porting. Just calling :bs: on maddogs comment. I did buy a contesta for this build but not porting it...i'll just get a corsa if needed.
