I have a 1986 spree with 765 miles that will run great at times, and other times it will fire first kick idle for 3 to 4 seconds then quit. When it runs after an hour or so it starts to sputter at half throttle I have cleaned the carb replaced the plug replaced the petcock and took a carb off my 1987 spree that runs like a top and same problem. It also has 132-135 compression. Also when i cover the intake on the carb 3/4 of the way it will start & run until i take my hand away.
