Greetings From Denver!

Post by SpreeBallin »

Hi guys!
Been trolling the boards for a few days and have loved reading all your sooper cool threads.
I just purchased a 1987 Spree. I wish I had found this site before I had made my purchase as I would have jumped on the elites I've been seeing on craigslist instead but what can you do? Shes in alright shape there are some parts that look old and worn but they still have all the original safety stickers in place. I've been riding it to work the last few days and have loved every minute. just wish she would maybe push past the ol 25 mark with me on it.
I know there are threads asking things but there are just so many that it gets so overwhelming to go digging through.
So I've got a few questions, with one goal in mind; the speedy (speedier!) expedition of myself to point B.
1. Where do I start?
2. What are my options?
3. Where do I order parts?
4. When are we going riding?
thanks and I hope to enjoy more time on this forum thanks for being here.

At your altitude you need to check and make sure you have the proper main jet in it. That would be #60 rather than the #65 in the normal carb. It won't help a lot but it will help. Your altitude is what is making your scooter slow.
