jet size problem bbk kit

Post by lamie2012 »

I have a 1987 spree, the engine was completely rebuilt, new seals, new gasket, new bearing and a 44mm kit.
I cleaned the carb replace the jet with the one from the kit.
I also drilled some holes on my air box and changed the air filter
The scooter idle good but has no power from 0 to 25 km and then it runs better.
Too much gas coming in? Is the jet too big? is that why it runs better when it goes faster?
The jet included in the kit was a 100
I tried a 80 and it's way better
I will test a 85 check the plug and then determine witch one is the best..

thanks
