scrapin' pegs... well my vin number.
howdy,
i was out scooting around this morning,
still amazed at how much fun 25 mph can be, (i've been riding dirtbikes, since i was 11 - i just turned 25), seriously unbelievable the 50cc's of fury.
but at any rate i figured the only way to have more fun is to push in and roll on the throttle - well crank on it - and really get down into the turns.
The first hard turn i pushed into it made a scrape noise - and i figured - eh its plastic - who cares -
but then after about a half hour of riding around, and finding out that my float is stuck - or something (its over flowing out the lower side hole) i realized hey am i screwing up my center stand.
so i took a look,
and the center stand was fine.
but the vin number was bent and scraped.
i'm pretty * and i was thinking about making drag blocks, or something to protect the sides.
has anyone done this.
like titainum for throwing sparks - at my leaky carb.
just a thought
let me know if you've got the same problem
stay safe
fizz.

I do this all the time; mine's toast from cornering.
You could always hang off the inside, knee out, and thus keep the bike more upright and with a higher cornering speed... where'r my kneepucks?

I thought that a Spree racing class would be a hoot. Set up a small track on one of the abandoned parking lots around here. Might encourage some actual performance-enhancing on the Spree.Racerx336 wrote:We used to take the stands off my my sprees so we could lean farther over. We had a couple small tracks set up in parking lots and we would all race eachother. Too bad I sold the sprees . . .

"Stock," not "Numbers matching"
"Stock" would be 49cc only up to .5mm overbore, OEM exhaust, intake, and carb, and a spec 2.5" tire. Porting would be allowed on stock parts.
"Unlimited" would be Spree OEM case and single pulley, but that's it. Unrestricted bore, carb, intake, exhaust.
