Hello i have had about six mopeds now. I just got my first dio. Was looking for info on what else can be done to get just a little more out of my 48mm bore.

well done looks good. I see you have the same little pin holes in the aluminum as I had. they had me worried at first :smile:

not sure what else you can or should do.

Yeah the pin holes are just casting marks I think. I was looking at them at first to. I am still not sure on what size carb. Thanks

It all depends on what your scoot's mission in life is. I still wanted alright fuel economy so i went with a small carb.

If you want a flat out dragster with a giant exhaust then the 28-33mm carbs seem to be the way most people are going

The 24 or 21 would be a good choice.

Be sure to remove that hex bolt from your tranny vent before a long ride, though. Firing projectiles at following Gendarmes is frowned upon, even here in Texas. :wink:

No did not forget the wrist pin clips and as it goes for putting it together I could have done it on the bed and she wouldn't have seed nothing. :D
