Honda Spree not Getting Any Electricity

Check for 12v on the red wire at the back of the ignition switch.
If the is no voltage there, you have an open in the wire between the fuse holder and the switch.

If there is power on the red wire, next check the solid black wire for 12v with the key on.
if there is no voltage there, then your ignition switch is bad.

Let me know what you discover.

I took the black plastic cover off the back of the ignition switch and probed the red wire with the ignition in the on and off position. In both cases my voltage reading was zero. I probed from the positive side of the battery the the connector on the far side of the fuse, and it read 12.6V. What next?

I'm pretty lost. I don't see any wires disconnected anywhere along the scooter. It would crank over like 2 days ago, and now with a newly charged battery and fuse, nothing happens. i was hoping that I could get this running fairly easy...

The red wire that comes from the fuseholder goes to the ignition switch.

There is a break(open) in that wire. Find it.....or run a new wire.

So should I cut open the casing surrounding the wires and look for a break? Does that red wire power the whole front end, sending power to the lights and everything?

Break in the what? I don't understand what you are typing. I tested the voltage on one side of the fuse to the other, and I got nothing. But If I read from the battery to the other side I get 12V. Idk what I'm doing wrong...

get a brand new piece of wire.

connect one end to the positive terminal on the battery.

connect the other end to the black wire (not the black with a stripe) on the back of the ignition switch.

this will power up your horn blinkers and rear running lights.

do this and report back.

This is a test........not a permanent solution.

That worked. I held a wire to the black wire and the starter, lights, and horn worked. But in doing so, my battery drained down to like 11V, which made the starter run slow. Do i need to charge my battery again? How do I permanently fix the wiring issue?

Only if he has the new wire connected thru the fuse because it sounds like there may be a high resistance short.
