In another thread, I suggested a mild 125cc ENDURO pipe might be a good match for Scooter Duty. Bear misinterpreted that to mean a CR pipe, but I was thinking more MT-125. Yeah, it'll need some cuttin' an'-a-weldin' but the volume and geometry's been tried and tested.

Anyhow, Piped or not, should be a spacious fun ride.

.....My expectation is to find that the main jet is somewhat reduced by varnish and will clean up and return to normal.....What is the result if I move the main jet needle up a notch??......I have already inspected the handlebars for room to hang a brake-lever perch, but routing the cable gave me visions of wrestling an octopus.....thanx for saying that you have done this....at least I know it is possible.

If you use the Aero 80 switch assembly, it replaces the the Aero 125 switch assembly and has the brake lever attached. The cable routes just like you would on any other scooter. Down the stem, back along and under the floor board to the rear brake assembly. I have this done to two of my 125's. The switch assembly is a plug in deal. The cable came from a GY6 150cc scooter, 175 cm IIRC.

If you move the clip up the needle, you lower the needle, thereby leaning out the mid range. Oh an visa-a-versa.

......right.....understoood.....I will be pulling this carb to clean, so I'll take note clip position during the disassembly, I'll check these jet sizes too.....the MANUAL failed to clearly explain the function and adjustments of the main jet needle, unless the info is located where I didn't look..........

I'm not sure the 125 exhaust is a problem. A member on another forum put a CT intake (with adapter) and a 28 mm OKO on his and does 65 mph and it is only that fast because he won't use the 1/3 of throttle that is left.
