The weight will only effect the ET not the top speed. What is this obsession with weight?
Stick to helping guys get their scooters running, 1/8th mile drag racing is obviously out of your area of expertise.
I was running 1/8 and 1/4 miles drags before you were born nitwit. *, I had two different rear end gear sets for the different length race tracks. So it is within my expertise, obviously more than yours. Also a slower ET will often garner a high mph because of the longer time to achieve the extra mph.

What you like 100 years old?... I was born in 1954 and FYI I started drag racing in 1970 when I got my drivers license.
Come on down and race with us, other wise your opinions are just... opinions.
Who said anything about MPH anyway... I didnt
Dude didnt you see who wrote that weight has nothing to do with MPH? That was bear!! He is older than everyone.. done more than anyone and of course knows more than anyone.. and if he doesnt he has a friend that does Just ask him and he will tell you so.

Only you don't understand and will never get it. Lower gears multiply torque which improves acceleration while horsepower is unchanged by gearing. Hence a better ET with basically no gain in speed. You really have made up your mind and I won't confuse you with the facts. Horsepower to weight ratios are a BS number that they often use for class breaks but the have nothing to do with speed thru the 1/4 mile. But they effect the * out of acceleration. I was doing this stuff back in the 60's and winning so you can't tell me how it works, I know and you are wrong, weight has nothing to do with trap speeds. ET yes, but speed, sorry charlie!

So why did Superman run 7 mph faster with a 100lb lighter rider?
All you do is talk with nothing to back it up... any one can make up a story to back his idea up. Build a drag scoot and race it.. come back with proof to back up you theories.. maybe then some one will listen to you. Right now were all laughing at you

But numbnuts, that is not what you claimed. You said that 100 lbs was worth a .10 on the ET. So now you are changing the claim? Oh and was the ET a .10 of a second faster or are you full of crap there?
