9 months of drought, and a ride that was planned for 5 months coincides with the exact moment that TX gets buckets of water.

The Dio. It stayed in the back of the Element after the Saturday morning rain, but it was filthy. Just finished tearing her down and washed every last piece.

That happened to my once and once ONLY on my Aero. Got caught 10 miles away from home in a downpour. I had to disassemble everything to make sure all was cleaned and sterilized... Kinda fun, but kinda not. :|

I'm determined once my NS is finished, to actually *ride* it and not just sit and look at it...

reminds me of the gyro S model called Road Fox....possibly a dual application??....wonder if the under-cowl fits with guard in place??....jealous that you're riding this and I'm not....way to go!!

I have no idea if the cowl would fit. I actually like the naked look on this bike. Thanks for the kind words!

I'm with Sanj on this one; I love the naked look (hehehe, that's funny) however I'd love to have a set of NOS optional plastics in my stash...

Looking good, bro!

So... Update for me!

Thursday evening, I began disassembling and prepping my NS because my bore kit will be back early this week from Team Calamari who ported / modified port timing, & "cleaned up" my new bore. :o

My bore is 67cc's, cast iron, & head machined to match bore and proper squish...

I've spent the past couple days just getting everything prepped and sterilized for the bore; fun stuff! Sometimes it's fun to polish-up stuff that's already cleaned! Haha!

I will post up pictures of during my install, and the finished product really soons!
I cannot wait to start it up for the first time with the new bore... And once I get it broken-in, it will be time to really ride!

Later, jon
:peace: :coolcruise:

The bore made it back today, and the porting job freaking amazing; big applause to Team Calamari... Every port got some serious love and time. How they got into the smallest spaces is beyond me-

Everything is coming together nicely... Pics will be up soon!
