G dash stem on honda elite 87 se50

will the g dash stem fit on to the honda elite frame jus bolt on?
btw can anyone send pics of a 87 disk break conversion using the g dash stem or zx live stem

Yes its a direct plug and play. The G dash fits better than the zx stem. You don't have to heat and push out the inner leg panel to make clearance for the triple. You can use the 87 head bearings or the jdm dio stem bearing.

thanks bakaracer btw wat kine handle bars can the g stem fit? super dio or arnada or live headset??

Any of the jdm headsets will fit. The only thing is that the stem sticks up a little more that it should so there is going to be a bit if a gap between the front panel and the headset. You have to mod the clamp part of the handlebar to close up the gap

Its the same. The spacing on the head stem tube on the frame for the 87 is shorter than the jdm bikes. So always going have a gap if you don't mod it some. You don't have to take that much off the bottom of the handlebar. Maybe 1in at the most.

No welding. Your just going to trim a little off the bottom where the bar clamps around the stem. If your using the G dash you might not need to trim off any or maybe just a little if you want it to sit pretty clean.
