Re: yamaha jog
They run great. They are tuned to pull higher rpms so you have more speed. Probably has close to an extra horse over the af16 in stock form from what I've read. The vert gets the jump off the line but the horizontal will overtake it on top end. It is a matter of physics, the H can flow more air. It would have been interesting if the H dio after market took off to see which would be the sicker build. Watch the year when you build. They switched to Taiwan cranks that don't handle increased rpm. The after market is huge. Front telescopic forks instead of swingarm makes forel more confident handling.b.ludwig wrote:noted ill remember that from now on when jogs r brought up how do they run r they nice

Re: yamaha jog
Good buy. If you decise to mod, keep it under 10k on the stock crank. That is thw consensus for safe redline.pod4444 wrote:i just picked up a 2000 jog from this old man for $700.its great condition with 761 miles.not sure but i feel like i got a good deal.dont know alot about the jog but i heard the motors r good.i weigh 200 and it pulls me 43mph on flat ground.
